Guest Post - Wearable Trends This Spring

After a long, dreary winter, designers are ready to show off their bright spring collections. Matching the colourful and sunlit days of springtime, we are going to see a lot of fun patterns and bright colours that encompass what spring is all about. This season is all about feeling comfortable with casual, wearable pieces made for any woman. Some of our favorite spring looks at Southern Hippie are floral patterns, wide leg pants, and flowy tops that embrace the comfortable and feminine vibe trending this season.

Pattern: Floral

Bright floral patterns give a feminine, free-spirited look to any outfit. You can keep it simple with a fun floral print dress or mix in leather for a flirty, yet edgy contrast. You can find this pattern in just about every garment--from dresses, jackets, scarves, and more. Just remember, floral print will be the focal point of your outfit. If you really want to stand out, try a head to toe floral outfit with bold, vibrant colours.

 Pants/Bottoms: Wide Leg
Wide-legged pants are all over the Spring/Summer 2014 runways. Show Me Your Mumu carries a variety of wide-legged pants that are great for the spring and summer seasons. These flowy, silky pants are an easy go-to garment that give you an effortless, stylish look. They are loose and airy enough to wear on hot summer days, whether you are riding your bike around town or checking out a music festival. Try one with a high waist to elongate the leg, or a brighter pattern to really stand out in a crowd.

All Over Flowy
